Uncle Mark's visit.

So (Uncle) Mark's 15 day visit has flown by already. We had a fun time and it was so good to see him. It also made things here feel a little more like home now that we have had a visitor from back home to show stuff from life here at KAUST and in Jeddah too.
The timing of his visit was such that he was here for Marin's birthday and also here to help me out while Ian had a conference to go to in Hong Kong. Thanks brother! :) So while Ian was away and Marin was a school in the mornings Corban, Jeriah and I played tour guide, taking him to see the sights of KAUST. Once Ian was back we took him to check out a bit of Jeddah and to one of the western style private beaches. (Our family beach at KAUST is still under construction)
So to pack it all into a nutshell here are some pcitures, there was...

and...

Thanks for coming to visit (Uncle) Mark!

What a great posting, Kristin. It looks like the kids had lots of good fun with Uncle Mark and he with them. This is just a great collection of good times pictures.

What great timing for his visit, while Ian was away. That beach is something else, how beautiful! Hope you get to enjoy lots and lots of that while you are over there :)

I'm glad he got to have such a long (and well-timed!) visit with you. Are these the first beach pictures we've seen? I'm excited for your beach at KAUST to be finished!
