Only time for Cutness.

No time for lots of writing... we are so busy and so tired and so close to heading out on our big adventure!
I do however want to share a few pictures of our totally cute kids!
Even though things are busy I am still trying to take as many pictures as I can. :)

Baby Foulds #3~ Weeks 23, 24 & 25

Today we are at 25 weeks of pregnancy, 15 weeks and it will be my due date! And with the way time is flying by that will be no time at all!
On the way home from church today I was talking with Ian saying how big things seem to happen when I am pregnant. When Marin was on the way, I lost my job and had to find a new one, I was hired at 2 different places and then a 3rd were I stayed. While expecting Corban, Ian was writing and defending his thesis. This 3rd time, as you all know, is our big move to KAUST. Makes you wonder what could happen if there is a 4th!
Also an observation I made the other day was that during this pregnancy we will have lived in 4 different locations, in 9 months!
To say we have a lot going on right now would be a bit of an understatement!
Anyway even though I haven't been blogging much (due to a HUGE lack of time!) we are still taking pictures, and measuring my belly, just like we did when we were expecting Marin and Corban.
Week 23.
38 3/4"
(With Marin I was 37 1/4" and with Corban 38 1/2")
Week 24
39"
(With Marin I was 38" I couldn't find the pictures from 24 weeks with Corban)
Week 25
39 1/4"
(With Marin I was 38 1/2" and with Corban I was also 38 1/2", and measured no change from weeks 23 to 25 with him, go figure...)
So this little guy growing inside me is becoming quite the mover and shaker. We are looking forward to meeting him and I had fun shopping for endless baby boy summer clothes for him. :) I am also looking forward to seeing how Marin and Corban will be with a new baby. This time Marin is older and much more able to be a part of things, so I think she will like that. Corban is very loving so I am sure he will love his new baby brother and when Baby Foulds #3 gets to be a year or so I am sure the 2 of them will have all sorts of fun together!

Our KAUST House Near the Red Sea Shore.

So time for an update on our big move...
First we got our housing assignment, and we are pretty excited about the location of it.
Look how close we are to the Red Sea! And the yacht club! As well as an early childhood learning center!
(This is a picture (of the scale model in the show tent) Ian took during his last visit to KAUST at that point we didn't know which house was going to be ours and he just happened to get a picture from an angle that our house is in.)
(If you click on the picture it will come up much larger.)
Secondly you may have noticed that the number of days left on the count down (on the side bar) has increased, not decreased. Along with our housing assignment came the news that our house would not be ready for us until August 7th. We were originally set to arrive on August 1st and were offered a hotel for the week, but a week in a hotel with toddler, a preschooler, and a husband who needs to work, along with the fact that I will be 27 weeks pregnant was not at all appealing to us. So we opted to have our flights changed, we will now be flying out on August 6th and arriving at KAUST on August 7th.
And third we got our visa, so now we can all officially enter KSA.
Yay!
We are still plugging away at preparing all our stuff for shipping, and getting all our paper work and what not in order.
Moving to the other side of the earth is a LOT of work!

Good-bye Playdates.

I am going back in time with these pictures.
From June 21st to 25th, Ian was in London again and during that time the kids and I had 3 farewell playdates.
On Monday we went out to my friend Mandy's, she and I used to work together before Marin was born. Marin had a fun time playing with her girls Kenzi and Ava, and it was nice to catch up with Mandy.
On Wednesday Rachel came to us with her 3 boys Max, Marty and Jaxon. The weather was great so we went out exploring the SFU campus. The kids enjoyed searching for the fish in the pond, playing back at our place together, and as always it was lovely chatting with Rachel.
Wednesday we went to Natalie, Brianna and Kyle's place and Sarah, Dylan and Ryder came too.
Natalie, Sarah and I met at a playgroup when Marin, Brianna & Dylan were 14-18 months old. Natalie had put together a little party for us and had even booked the common room in her apartment building and brought over loads of toys and food so the kids had lots of space to run around and play and us moms had plenty to eat. :)
It was sad to say goodbye to them, and to see the kids give each other one last goodbye hug.
L to R: Myself, Natalie and Sarah.
Thanks to you all for one last visit, we hope to see you in the coming years when we are back for visits!

Ian's June visit to KAUST.

Here I am finally finishing up this post...
In June there was a KAUST faculty meeting, it was held in Jeddah and some of the meetings took place out at the KAUST site.
We were all set for Ian to take lots of pictures, he snapped as many as he could and even took some video.
(He would like me to let you all know that many of the pictures were taken from a moving bus or through a dusty lens, so please excuse the less then perfectness of them.)
This is just a picture he took of the sky, I like it so you all get to see it. :)
Ian even had a few people to come up and chat with him and comment that they have read our blog. (Hello to all of you!)
One of those people is Aram. He is a fellow Canadian. He wanted to be on the blog too.
Everyone say Hello Aram.

So onto pictures I know you all want to see!
This set is all of the university buildings.

A video of the view from the inside of the university buildings.

This second set of pictures is of mix of both the inside and outside of the university buildings as well as some of the other buildings at KAUST.

This last set is a mix of shots from around KAUST.

And last but not least a video with snippets from the inside of a 3 bedroom house they toured through. (Again, Ian wanted to say sorry it moves a little fast, but he had to take the video very quickly so that he didn't get left behind.)

So there you have it.
Wont be long and we'll be living there!

Marin's Supper Time Prayer.

This past Sunday (2 days before we moved) Ian and Marin had gone out in the afternoon to pick up a couple last minute things. They were at T&T and Marin, remember that they sell Pocky there, asked if they could get some. Sure enough they arrived home with a box of Dessert Pocky.
While waiting for supper Ian, Marin and Corban were watching a tv show and when dinner was ready we paused it.
We told Marin that after dinner we would all have some of the Pocky and then she could finish the last little bit of her tv show. We sat down to dinner and Ian asked Marin if she wanted to pray for dinner. This is what she prayed.
"Dear Lord,
Thank you for this food.
Thank you that we are going to have Pocky and please let me finish watching my tv show.
Amen."
When you are 3, these are the things that are important to you.
She is such a funny kid!
