Say Aww.

This morning the kids and I went to IKEA. Our reason for going was to see if they still had any of the giraffe stuffys we got Marin last year. Corban has taken a liking to the one we have and of course now that he likes it Marin wants to play with it all the time too.
They didn't have anymore, but they did have a big bin of stuffys that were on sale so we didn't leave empty handed. :) Corban took a liking to a beaver stuffy and Marin picked out a beaver too. Perfect now they each have one, and very Canadian don't you think?
Anyway the reason for this post. We got onto the elevator to go down a level, it is a very large elevator and it was full, we were the first to get on and so were in the back corner. Marin likes elevators and often comments about them as we ride in them.
This particular time her comment was "This is a really full elevator." Everyone riding with us smiled and I heard a couple "oh she is so cute"s.
I responded and said "Yes it is, but it is a really big elevator so we all fit in." She nodded in agreement.
Everyone became silent, Marin looked up at me with a sweet look on her face and said "I love you Mommy."
Everyone in the elevator all at the same time said "Awwwww."
And then one woman said to everyone/for everyone, "Doesn't that just melt your heart!?"
"I love you too sweet girl." I said.

Another funny little story to add. Later while playing with her new beaver she told me (speaking for the beaver) "I came from the zoo in Africa."
"Oh really." I said, going along with whatever it was that she was pretending. She went on playing.
A few moments later she pauses and says to me "No wait, Aldergrove."
Then it made sense to me why she has said Africa, she had gotten her "A" places mixed up, just a little. I then told her she was smart and funny, because she is!
