Birthday Wishes for Corban!

Happy 1st Birth"day" Corban Barry!

Wow, we can't believe how fast this year has gone, you are one year old already sweet boy!
From the moment you were born it was like you had always been a part of our family. You were and still are the happiest boy we know, you love to be a part of everything and you love to have fun. You are the cuddliest little guy and your cuddliness is only increasing as you are more able to communicate and show affection. You give hugs and wrap your arms around our necks, you give real kisses and in large amounts. You love to have a morning snuggle before you get going for the day and you insist on some snuggles and cuddles after your nap, if I try to put you down to play before you are done snuggling you cry.
You love to go out and do things, you enjoy walks and you love the playground, as soon as you have it in your sights you point at it and make excited noises, the swings and the slide are your favorite. You also enjoy swimming, you love water splashing over your face and you are such a great bubble blower. A favorite game we all play is to build towers for you, so you can knock them down, just recently you have learned to build towers too.
You are very social too, you love going to playgroups and being part of song time and story time. You are not shy although you like to pretend that you are, that doesn't last very long though. :)
You have a newly found interest in books too, you like ones with stuff to do in them most, like flip the flap books, or touch and feel books. You also like ones with animals in them and you love to hear us make the sounds for you. You have even tried making the sounds yourself, you can do a darn cute lion when you want to. :) What is the sweetest though is when you bring us a book to read to you. You walk over, hold the book has high as you can and flash a big hopeful looking smile at us. If it is Daddy you are asking to read to you you even say "Dadadadada".
You have said Mama once when I know that you were talking to me, but you have yet to use it all the time. You will soon enough though, and I know you love me. :)
Even though you don't have many real words yet you are beginning to understand how to communicate, you have conversations with us using your cute form of "words" and we can tell talking is something you are working on. We know that you know the word juice among many others. When you see your sippy cup you will often say "jucjuc".
Your also really love your big sister, you love to play with her and be where she is. You laugh big belly giggle laughs when she "tackles" and rolls all over the floor with you, it really is the cutest thing to watch and hear. She still calls you Corby often too.
It has been so fun watching you change, learn and grow through your first year, you are the sweetest boy in the world.
We love you little man and we could not be happier that God has given us you, to be a part of our family. :)
